FS: 1994 Ford Taurus SHO *pics*

This is a beautiful car! Red exterior. Grey leather interior. Stock but amazing JBL sound system w/sub. 200,000kms, Air cared till 2010. The engine is a high output Yamaha 3.2L DOHC rated at 225hp/220lb. Torque – 7500 rpm redline! Automatic transmission. K&N air filter, Sunroof, Power locks, driver / passenger 8-way Power seats, Power windows, tilt, cruse, Keyless entry, Auto headlamps, Automatic Climate Controlled A/C (still cold)

The car is in great shape and near mint. Non-smoking

Some recent work done:
ew alternator (not rebuilt)
60K service: (all new) plugs, wires, timing belt, thermostat, crank position sensor, camshaft position sensor, intake manifold & intake runner gaskets, plug well seals, crank seal, accessory drive belt, valve shims adjusted and replaced as necessary.

This is overall a great car, gets above average fuel millage and has lots of power when you need it. It fits 5 comfortably and has one of the best stock sound systems for cars around that year.

Also installed is JVC Karmeleon hidden faceplate stereo & 12" Alpine type S DVC
- stereo / climate controls have been swapped (stereo is now in upper location / EATC is in lower)

Performance stats from a stock 1994 SHO Automatic (Car & Driver magazine) are 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds and 1/4-mile in 14.7@95mph.

Why buy a wussy '93 Civic with 127hp that, if you're lucky, comes with intermittent wipers when you can buy a 220hp luxury sedan with every single power and comfort option you can think of that will not only surprise, but also kick the ass of a lot of cars on the road for the same price?

PRICE IS $3200 OBO - MUST SELL CAR ASAP

thank you for a useless post.

The SHO is actually quite a surprising machine, Ford or not. Not all Fords are garbage, and this is coming from a Honda owner.

The motor is designed and built by Yamaha (in JAPAN)
Its probably the most technilogially advanced motor for its time. It's basically 3x 1000cc streetbike motors mounted side by side. The engine's true redline is over 8500 rpm, but it is electronically limited to 7000 rpm due to the Ford accessories

nice sleeper back in the day... and conan o'brian owns one i think. brad pitt did a nice smoke show/burnout with it in a past episode

Blinky 04-23-2009 02:56 PM

The only domestic car cooler/funnier than this is the Dodge Spirit R/T. The concept of a sleeper family sedan from the factory just cracks me up.

Good luck with the sale Shantz!

These are nice, I have always liked them, and I don't see too many in this red color either. Too bad its an auto, or I'd be looking at it.
