Need new alarm system, where to go? what to get?

Recently my remote for my alarm died (steal stopper)
went to ralphs radio and they said the alarm in the car works but the remote circuit board is toast so i need a whole new set up.

does anybody have any recommendations on good basic alarm set ups?
i dont really want to spend over 400$
and locations in vancouver only

so far i heard of crime guard two way pager for 430$

thanks

What vehicle is it?

Any RS sponsor will take care of you

$400 won't get you anything super fancy. So depending on your car and its modifications, you may want to get something a little nicer. The crimeguards aren't too bad, but the range isn't the greatest.

Well, the immobilizer and shock sensor come with our alarms. The big stores will charge you extra for every tiny little add-on and feature.

We have a brand new Compustar 2-way pager for less than the inferior Crimeguard piece. ;)
