OBD-II reader? Need help...

Does anyone know if Canadian Tire or Lordco/Napa do OBD-II reads for free? If not how much would it cost? Need one done asap as I'm selling my car but the CEL came on...man...worst time to happen. I keep it in tip top shape and wat the hell...

K&N or the like air filter? Chances are you sucked some of the oil onto the MAF contacts. You need to clean them with a can of MAF cleaner, you can get it from cambodian tire. I will take a look and see if there is a jumper for pulling the codes manually.

I cant find a way to check codes without a scanner, sorry!

Problem is once I reset the code, it will drive normally untill I rev it hard over 6.5k (i never drive it past 6.5k ever but just for tesing purposes this is what I noticed). I did just change the airbox out with an aftermarket oil filter. I'm guessing maybe a dirty MAF? But friggin don't wanna mess things up until I get the code...

ford made a 4 liter v6 with a red line over 6000 RPM ?

wow

i know most imports have a way to read it through flashing signals... not sure if ford has it. Check the service manual.
