this is kinda wut im talking about i dont even know exactly what those lines on the headlight lens are called. anyways what im looking to do is to maybe sand down the lead light lens? to remove all those lines and make a clear lens. but ive looked online and the end result isnt that pretty. some deep lines are still visible.

OK after more searching ive found better examples of what i want to do

^^^^^ auctually turned out pretty decent, however the person did say it took like 3+ hours to do one lens.

and yes obviously im working with a plastic lens, also ive thought about ordering real jdm clear headlights, but $1000+ worth of body work must be done in order to put them on cuz all the god damn mounting brackets are in different positions so new ones must be made.

but yea has anyone tired doin this? any insights?

theoretically it's easy...go up in grit (sandpaper) up to 6000, clean with alcohol, buff, then plastiX...but yeah, super time consuming don't know if you have the patience for that kind of stuff...I don't
