Annoying Speaker Problem Need some help with a speaker problem. I got into an accident couple years back (driver side door) after that my speaker never worked right. My driver side speaker will sometimes die (no sound what so ever) and if I use something power related on that door (Ie power locks) the sound would come back instantly; Or if I go over big bumps on the road. I've brought the car back to the original shop couple of times and other shops as well; They all told me they cant find the problem. They've asked me to bring back the car when the speaker is not working but the issue is so random and I just don't have that kind of time (work) I've noticed that it happens more when the weather is colder or during cold starts. Sometimes if it gets cold enough my passenger side speaker will die as well. (passenger side is not involved with the accident. Both rear speakers have no problems) Please give me some advise. I prefer to pay someone to fix the problem because I dont know anything about car audios. I drive a 01 QX4 |
Seems like a loose connection somewhere. Is this a stock system? When the driver's side goes out, does it happen to all the speakers on that side (rear, hatch, etc)? |
Stock system. When the driver side goes out, sometimes the passenger side will go as well. Everything else stays normal; rear speakers never goes out. |
Could just be faulty speakers... or there might be an external amplifier problem. |
Might even be the headunit. I've seen far too many QX4 and pathfinders with factory stereo issues. I can have a look at it since youre in my area. |
^ sure thing. Is your shop open on weekends? Pls let me know |
All times are GMT -8. The time now is 09:02 PM. |
