Three people injured in Vancouver blast VANCOUVER — Three people are in hospital after a dramatic explosion and fire at a four-storey apartment building Wednesday. Police are treating the blast at 2272 Dundas Street, near Garden Ave., as a crime scene and the centre of a criminal investigation. The explosion occurred at about 5 p.m., setting a unit on the third storey on fire and evacuating residents from the building. The three residents of the suite were sent to hospital with "undetermined injuries," according to VPD Const. Lindsey Houghton. About 30 Vancouver firefighters had the two-alarm blaze under control by about 7:30 p.m. The fire damaged the suite and caused "significant structural damage" to the rear of the building, according to Vancouver Fire Services Capt. Gabe Roder. http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Thr...107/story.html |

I think the problem comes when ppl are used to making ISO oil, then they try to make butane. If u light a pot of iso on fire it will just go on fire, if u light a pot of butane it WILL explode. Butane will sit in the air a while and if u in a closed room it will acctually start to make little puddles on the ground/counters and thats wen it get extremely dangerous. personally i dont mess around with making oil anymore, its just not worth it. |
^ exactly the place was hot inside no air and blew the fuck up. |
