I've seen it happen. One time the bully got stabbed by the nerdy asian kid who was losing his hair at the age of 14. Another time I watched the school dork drag a bully over to a desk and repeatedly smash his face off a desk with a death grip on the back of his hair. When I lived in Saskatchewan I watch a grade 7 bully get shit kicked by a kid 2 years younger then him. He ripped his earing out of his ear tearing his ear lobe, smashed him in the face and then once on the ground he stomped on his face until he was unconcious. The next day the bully comes to school with the kids shoe print in his face, no joke the fucking shoe print was in his forehead it was awesome.

Nobody expelled, the guy who did the stabbing and the guy who got stabbed were both suspended for 3 days and then allowed back. This happened about 19 years ago.

He's Korean, but because the white guy probably thinks every asian person is chinese...he called him a "fucking chinese"

I find it interesting that there is such an outcry over bullying, with tv ads and newspaper articles. When it happens that this kid, in this situation gets bullied, he gets fucked for defending himself. How many times did he have to get hit-first! before he was allowed to fight back? He even hit him with his left hand.

Oh, you are a black belt which means that you have to get your ass kicked because some kid picked on the wrong asian? Fuck that.

You want to combat bullying in schools you need to face facts that kids in school aren't going to suddenly stop, get to your deep inner feelings and come out the other side singing kumbaya while roasting marshmellows sharing a new found respect for each others cultures.

I had two friends who were under 18 (14 and brown belt) and 17 (and black belt). They were both Japanese. I saw the Brown Belt go ballistic on someone once. Open palm hits on the guy, who just wouldn't lay off him and he finally stopped putting up with the jabs and shit from the other guy. Needless to say, if he'd been using fists or chops, would've been some serious injuries. As it was... the other guy getting slapped up from every direction was almost funny to see.

im sure the argument against the oriental kid was that he could have subdued his bulley without smashing his face in. legally and in a perfect world he woulda just put him in a solid restraining hold and waited till authorty stepped in to break it up

one of my friends in highscool was born with 7 fingers, everyone made fun of him and called him an alien all the time, but 7 fingers with an ordinary sized hand means your knuckles are fucking HUGE when we were in grade 10 he fought a grade 12 guy that was flapping off, he beat him down so bad the grade 12 didnt come back to school for 3 weeks, knocked 2 earings out, a tooth split his lip and left lumps all over his face

pushed him away to avoid the fight and he fell, then you can call it a self

I went to 1 of maybe 3 fairly white high schools in Richmond. By grade 12 though, it was probably like 70% Asian! But I mean, there wasn't this kind of racism..the white kids hung with the white kids, the Asians with the Asians, then the odd CBC in with the white kids, the odd white kid with the Asians...

The white kid punched first. Technically by all legal (and martial art) definitions, one or two punches back that are designed to help diffuse the situation are fine. By legal law, if someone comes at you with a closed fist and refuses to open it after you ask him to, you're allowed to go at him as it's considered self defence. You'll probably find a bunch of lawyers willing to say that's not true, but it is. It's handy having a Sensei that's also an ex-ERT member. I got to know all the in's-and-out's of the legal law when it comes to self defence.

When I was in high school, I remember playing baseball against a team from Surrey. Not only were the kids on the Surrey team calling me a chink, so were their parents and the umpire laughed at me when he was talking to the parents when I came up to the plate to hit. It was a big shock to me, my teammates and the parents that came along.

I did get the last laugh on the pitcher though when I hit the ball about 400ft to left field and over the outfielders head and then stole 3rd base. I scored on a base hit and said "Hey look, this chink just scored the first one. I guess you guys like being behind here". I said a few other things when I stood at the plate and everyone on my team and parents from our town started laughing. After that, the other team shut up.

I'm glad I haven't faced any other points of racism in my life after that.
