Where can I rent a Vintage Jaguar for wedding ? Hi guys My buddy is going to get marry in July this year and would like to know where he can rent a Jaguar on his wedding day and he will provide his own driver. He prefer the mid-1990 boxed style (not the round one) Jaguar. Please kindly shed me some light where I can rent one. Many thanks in advance. |
I've never really heard of renting vintage jags... however if he wants to "pretend" being baller, then there are those places that rent super expensive cars to HS kids for grad kinda thing. Do a search, I'm sure you can find something |
try contacting indpendent jaguar repair shops like silk cat in n.van or XJ motors in vancouver... i'm sure if there are any available out there they would have serviced it. |
You can ask reputable dealerships whether or not they'll rent out cars. Sometimes they will rent cars. I know Brian Jessel BMW has rented out a few of their cars for weddings. |
Go to MCL - they'll point you in the right direction. |
Try contacting the local classic car club (google search function). A member probably will rent his out for the right price (and probably provide a driver). |
Since when is a mid-90's car considered to be "vintage?" lol. If you want a proper vintage jaguar, let me know. |
mid 90's? Just buy one and sell it afterwards, they're dirt cheap. 30's to 50's jags on the other hand are a different story. |
I've seen pictures of a local wedding with a vintage jag. I'll see if I can find them. |
there's a place in victoria you can rent old bugatti's I know...i forget their name tho use google. |
rent an E-type. those are damn hawt! if i had the money, that'd be my next restoration car |
|
yeah if anyone.. MCL should know |
Mid90s are those with the V12 and that Ferrari wannabe C pillar treatment right.... those are like 5-6K a pop? Like someone said already buy one, fingers crossed that it doesn't fail during the wedding, and sell it. |
^you mean the XJS? Those were from the mid 70s-mid 90s. The cost to do the HG on one is easily more than the car is worth. I suggest finding someone with a Mk. II Jag Also, if you do find something actually vintage, don't even bother trying to hire the car and expect to have your own driver. It's probably not going to happen, as most people would rather drive the car themselves. |
just stalk ones that you see on the road, keep a safe distance and confront them when they park :) |
