I met Bashir last night at Glowbal, last time I talk to him was a few years back, he walks up to me and he's like "hey, I remember you", kind of shocked he remembered me. His F430 was parked outside so I’m like I’m going to come down to your shop next week for a ride, he started laughing and he's like anytime. I can honestly say that I have yet to meet a person nicer and so down to earth than Bashir.

I also spotted 4 Gallardos last night in Yaletown, which included a SL and a yellow one from Alberta with the plate "gallardo". Also spotted a beautiful red GTR with wheels parked infront Opus with some white writing on the windows, I think the car was at the track during the day.

Leasing exotics work differently I believe. You can't just lease them like you lease out a normal car and just return it after the lease is up. Ws6ta explained exotic leasing in a thread last year.

the downpayment would be around 75,000

financing a 350k car would be like 8000$

but leasing it stilll would be at least 5k

^ You're correct. Weissach sometimes posts the leasing information on their site for the Lambo's and you're correct about the down payment, at the bare min. it's a $75,000 down payment or trade in for a Gallardo/LP560-4 and the payments still work out to be around $3000/month.

looking at this thread with co-worker and his comment was what kind of people drive these? he's seen a few and the people in them look like they are in their 20's. were these cars obtained legitimately? ie. gangsters with leased rides? bulletproof glass and armor plating?

come to think of it, if u want to see a lot of exotics in one place, just go to SR/Bismark... there is usually something expensive parked in front :o
