tell them you are heading to nigeria on a business trip and will meet them up. then ask for their name, address, and phone number and they will leave you alone lol

Common, craigslist scams been around a while. This is common from eBay circa 1998 haha.

i got something similar to that as well when i tried selling my iphone on craigslist instead it was the woman was buying it as a gift for a wedding in africa

They're not bots. It's real people sending them, but it's just that the scammers copy and paste the same template over and over again. There are probably hundreds of these Nigerians constantly looking for new Craigslist ads to send these emails to.
