no man, what happened in Nanking was 90% the same as this incident. except it happened to thousands of people. what makes the Nanking massacre so fucked up is that the Japanese government deny that it ever happened for several decades. this is why Chinese people are so upset over it. it's as if Germany never admitted that Adolf Hitler existed and WWII happened. the Japanese government simply referred to the "rape of Nanking" it as an incident and treat this "incident" as if it just occurred and blew over in a day. any Japanese person born after the 1950's has barely any idea about this happening.
