Ah crap, this copy I bought from NCIX is not compatible with the add on. The BLUS number doesn't match. I think NCIX sold me a copy from Asia WTF!

So who has bought the maps? I'm thinking of grabbing them, but are they worth the $15?
Pretty pricey for an add-on.

I just took the dive and bought it too.
How do you split? I tried to log into my PSN from my brothers PS3 to download ff7 and super puzzle fighters on his ps3 but didn't let me log in.

I split the map pack with my friend as well. Here are the steps to protect yourself:

1. Change password to ur account
2. Give email and password to friend.
3. Your friend then creates a new account. When they go to sign up for PSN, use 'existing account'
4. Enter email and password
5. Go inside the PSN and view d/l's. Get the map pack.
6. Once done, change the password back to what u want.

The account must be kept on the new ps3 for good because if it is deleted the map pack will be disabled. Hence, it's wise to change your password because your credit card info will be there too. Also, you must be signed off while your friend does this in order for it to work. Good luck!

new map is sweet. Gave my account to my brother and that $15 felt better spent. Will probably give it to my friend too.

how many time can you dl the map? I kinda remember it was on 3 PS3 the most, is it?

I read that for this DLC its 3. PSN's default limit is 5, but in the end its up to the developer. Check the sharing thread on RFD.

$15 for a few new maps seems like a rip off to me, when two of them are from the old game and the MW2 disc is $70 or so... like fuck that should be free.

MW1>>>MW2 IMO.

Agreed^. I bought the map pack cause it adds some fun into it and for 5 bucks you cant go wrong. Have to admit tho, 2 buddies and I plugged MW1 back in last night and it brings back so many memories. M40A3 + ACOG and steady aim for no scope and 1 hit kills. Felt just so much more fun than playing MW2 and all the bullshit spawns and randomness.

i got an question

my online ID is registered under PSN Taiwan
but PSN Taiwan doesn't have the map pack yet, so i register a new online ID with PSN Canada
so if i buy the map pack thru the PSN Canada account, is the map pack playable when I switch back to my original PSN Taiwan account?

I am pretty sure it should. I heard someone trying to buy the map pack for Ferrari Chanllege from UK becuase it's the only place available. But u need a valid address if you want to use credit card.

Or add money from PSN card I guess.

Is it like how Socom 1-2 used to be? I thought that was one of the best games, you had to use your mic or your team would get owned. I find MW2 fun but sometimes it gets so stupid, everyones running around doing their own thing.
