Where to buy Wire Mesh?

Hey guys! Where can I get wire mech to make a custom bug screen? The finer (smaller holes) the better! ;) Thanks!

overseas auto. they come in pre cut sized sheets. and so u just bend and cut to ur needs.

u can get the home depot stuff, but that has sharp edges and isnt smoothed edged like what overseas carries. plus i think they have different patterns as well

Home depot carries the large ones you can cut... and shape etc.

But i need large mesh that they didn't have >_<

I can't find it on Home Depot's website. Does Rona carry that as well?

Does Overseas Auto carry thin ones that are more like the mesh on a window screen, or are they large thick grills for car modding?

Home Depot, Rona, Home Hardware should have what you're looking for. All these places have "make it yourself" mesh door services and they should have atleast 1-2 different types of bug mesh for you to choose from. Made my own window screens awhile back:thumbsup:

Probably find it real cheap at Army & Navy... look in the hunting/fishing/camping/outdoor area.

I want thicker stuff to protect my front where the crappy OEM license plate was blocking the rocks.

Do you want WIRE mesh, or just the plastic/nylon mosquito netting?

The latter is easy to find in any camping department.

WIRE mesh that's fine enough to catch bugs is going to be pretty stiff and hard to work with...

All depends what your main concern is.

home depot carries mesh but its the larger stuff most of the car places carries the more smaller holes one

Home depot.
I will be going there to get supplies to make one soon.

Lots of different size options... pretty cheap. 48"x78" for $7, for example.
