My vietnam photos can be found here http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreas...7617896979193/ go nuts... tell me which one you guys like. |
i just went through the slide show, that looks like such an awesome country! What were those 'sandwiches' in the hot dog buns called? They looked pretty good. I like this photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreas...7617896979193/ mostly because its not staged and shows the farm life. But the dark rich black in this one does it for me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreas...7617896979193/ I just wish you were slightly more to the left in this photo so you can see more of the lit room.... but then the pathway would not be in the middle of the photo.... regardless its still my favourite. This one reminded me of top gear: http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreas...7617896979193/ |
The sandwhiches are actually known here as "vietnamese sandwhiches" or "bahn mi" (french bread) and can be filled with different ingrediants such as "op la" (ommelette) "pate" (pate) "thit" (chicken) "xiu mai" (meatball that spreads like butter) and some other ingredients such as pork, cream cheese etc... They cost about 70 cents per sandwhich and if your vietnamese it's a little cheaper, but I think the standered rate is 7000 dong which is around 50 cents. |
Very impressive photo's of a fantastic trip it looks like! Very well documented! |
