ok stop pm'ing me! when you host up large meets like this, you learn you need to do everything by the book. cant do those suddenly show up at a parking lot and own it as your own anymore. thus spots are rented for the day, which requires event insurance for the day as well. this is also why RS doesnt host more than 2 meets a year. holding many mini meets, with less ppl showing means it gets costly. With that said, we know what we gotta do this year. Even chatted with DTP reps, and they are thanking us for supporting the local car community. Even with everyone stretching budgets beyond its limits, or even cutting back, we are pushing forward, because we have to! So what to expect from this summer meet??? - Free hotdogs, its a tradition we like to uphold! - Games and prizes, yes, the chugging contest is back! - Trophies for Best of Meet, and Best car crew. BCmazda has reigned this title and are the top contenders to beat. Their community is strong, but can you rally up urs to be stronger? So they hold the title for 2006/2007/2008, will they hold the title for 2009???? - Enjoy the cars, the company, and straight out good weather (praying to the weather gods as we speak!) This meet will be epic. we are using everything we have learned in the past 8 years, and lumping all the good into 1. Location will be announced as soon as the location has been approved by city and owner, and insurance has been set. then ill let the big cat out of the bag! Hope to see you all there!
