I've been. They have a theme park called Silverwood. Neat little place with a HUUUGE outdoor wavepool, and water park/slides.

I went to Couer D'lene last summer and it sucked. Id highly suggest you reavalute your travel plans.

Idaho is not exactly much of a "fun" vacation destination.

+1,
Silverwood is the largest amusement park in the northwest, and it's not bad. lots of stuff!

I've been THROUGH it a couple times... takes all of an hour to get across it on I90 going from Washington to Montana...

Stayed the night in Boise once, too... most boring place. On. Earth.

yeah its pretty bad

craters of the moon is pretty cool, but u can just drive through it

Depends on where you want to go and what you like. To be honest, I'd rather slice my own throat then go to Boise again but North Idaho (Coeur d'Alene, Kellogg, Mullan) is very picturesque.

Honestly man, I'd use Idaho as a jumping off point for Yellowstone or the Salt Flats in Utah. Its really as un-exciting as you'd think.

But, enjoy.

So Just FYI: The trip has been canceled. After we dug into "whats there to do in Idaho" we found nothing!

I'm not sure if the mods want to close this thread, or let it die down..

Cheers!

We're going to sticky it as a warning to others on why they shouldn't go to Idaho.

saucywoman 06-11-2009 11:16 AM

well not sticky but at least keep it around so when people do a search first like they should it will come up :)
