Dell 2408 and macbook pro I have a macbook pro (non-unibody, summer 2007 model). I also have a Dell 2408 hooked up to it but I can't get the monitor match my MBP display. I've calibrated both with a spyder2 colorvision. The Dell is still over saturated compared to the mbp. I've set the Dell 2408 to Mac gamma and calibrated several times but I still get the same results. Manually tweaking the RGB on the monitor after calibration has gotten me close but with some photos it still shows over saturated. I had a Dell 2005FPW prior and its' calibration matched my mbp display when calibrated with the spyder2. Tips? |
would it be something to do witht he graphic card? |
Not sure but I know the 2005wfp had a nicer panel (S-IPS) opposed to the 2008WFP. That could be the reason. |
I've found some settings on macrumors.com, I'm gonna give those a shot. And yea, the 2005wfp was a good monitor ><. |
Yeah... it definitely may have something to do with the panel type. |
