i have yet to buy one but i sure it will work out ok in the end

i dont think this will have a major effect on GPS receiver's accuracy. you only need 3 to pinpoint ur position, theres 27 up there.

Right, some of which are failing, and most of which are in different hemispheres from wherever you are using your device. It won't take the loss or malfunction of many satellites to throw things off.
