i've noticed that quiet, tall, tired looking chinese dude in the suit has been at no 9 for a fucking long ass time too. he reminds me of Lurch from the Addams family. haha!!!

I ate one of the burgers there and it was delicious. Who woulda thought that a chinese restaurant would make burgers and fries :)

Haha many years ago my old friend from school came to visit me in Richmond. After many, many drinks we headed to #9. This guy, from a town of like 10,000 people with no more than one Chinese restaurant, tried the burger and said it was the best he ever had!

I just realized I have many memories of #9. That and Hong Lok Yuen.

The burgers are pretty damn good there. Haha, I order it from time to time.

Once, my friend was parking his RX in the parking lot, and he was semi-drunk, and hit another car lightly in plain view of several police officers. He walked past them, and said "its ok dont worry" and walked inside lol. The RCMP came in and said "no, its NOT ok!"

i only tried the bbq pork late at night when its not its best (then again why would u go to no9 in the daytime), and the last time i had it, it was terrible... like REAL bad

oh lord... this was by far the worse service place i've ever been to.

get the 27. special beef brisket noodle (clear soup) everytime, i dont think i've ordered anything else there b4 LOL, but then again, i rarely go there

Also, agree on the preserved egg and shredded pork congee.

Scallop and egg white fried rice is a good one too.

Haha yeah, the service was terrible, and the food just about as bad. But man, so many memories :lol
