ok. so I emailed the ad, this is what I wrote.

"Hey, I saw your posting on Craigslist. I'm 22 and I actually just graduated from UBC in the Faculty of Law.
Anyways, My crew is mostly Asian with a few white friends.
So if you ever want to get a drink, let me know. We usually go to Cafe Crepe for some pitchers or to Joey's for a late night snack.

Also, if you're into clubbing we generally go to Caprice Night Club, as our friend works there or if you're into a more Asian scene we usually go to Gossip.
Let me know what you think.

Oh, and we're going to the beach on Friday for a little BBQ and volleyball if you're interested.
My picture is attached.

Take care."

and I do realize that the message I wrote was corny and probably not the best. But we'll see if I get a response.
If I get a response i'll post it here.

i attached this picture...

getting an undergrad only takes 4 years.. if you're a full time student.
depending on when your birthday is, you can get your bachelors when you're 21.

i'm turning 22 in oct and I just gradded from UBC. so yeah, it's possible.

TOPEC 05-30-2009 08:16 PM

Isn't UBC Law a graduate program? Don't you need to finish your 4-year undergrad degree before you can apply for first year law?

you're right. my bad.
strait from ubc law website...
"To be considered for admission applicants must have successfully completed three years (minimum 90 credits) of an approved course of studies leading to an undergraduate degree at an approved University no later than the end of April in the year of entry. However, prospective applicants should be aware that almost all of our students have completed a four year degree. In recent years approximately five applicants a year have been admitted without a four-year undergraduate degree."
