i think owners are now in the habit of naming new clubs stupid names example. boss, gossip and now venue lol

I think venue is better than all those names.

but then again im biased :P

plaza was a pretty hurt club...always a scrap there =\...hopefully this is better

^ That's cause it was full of EIs. Electronica music should deter most of the wannabe gangster EIs from going there now lol. But then you'll have wannabe gangster asians instead hahaha.

haha i know im EI and i hated that place...but i do see a lot more brown guys coming down to bassment and raves now :(

There have always been a lot of brown guys at raves.

asians dominate raves in the vancouver scene (asians as in any type of person originally from the continent of asia), that includes the whities from asia (aka russians...etc.)

that and little girls. HAHA

The ads for this club makes it look like it's gonna be full of hipsters lol. That'll be a good change though. Granville clubs are packed full of d-bags these days. Actually most clubs here are haha.

Nice electronica, Vancouver nightlife definately needs a healthy dose of that lol

I hope its more electro and less trance/techno. And agreed @ BlackV6, I'd take a club full of skinny hipsters over a club full of douchebags in ed hardy anyday. I'll be sure to check this place out.

i'm looking forward to going there so i can see the changes. hopefully this will refresh the vancouver nightlife scene a little bit.
