A.C.?

Since it was hot outside yesterday, I decided to turn on the air con in my 98 mercury villager.....

For some reason, the air is not cold. The air would remain hot. In fact, my GF said the air was more hot from the vents, then the air coming inside the windows. I turned the air to full cold and turned on the AC.

The AC was last turned on late August of last year...

Is there any thing I should do?

Thanks in Advance!

Might have to refill the refrigerant. That, or there's a leak and it needs to be repaired and then refill.

compressor or the clutch on the compressor may need to be replaced.

you might have to upgrade your system if it is still the old one. Unless you find someone who can fill it for you.
