What's the best plan for a blackberry bold?

So I'm gonna switch from telus to rogers, I want a BBB. anyways, what's the BEST deal I can get right now? I prefer to keep my old number as well. I know next to nothing about phones or phone plans as I have always used a company phone for the past i duno, since my first phone.

i'd probably have to sign a contract to get a cheaper BB right? that's fine with me, telus isn't great anyways. I hate their selection of phones.

I plan to also get data, but i'd probably only need 500mb per month since I wont be surfing that much, mostly just using MSN and looking stuff up while i'm on the go, stuff like that.

as for my phone habits, i send out about 600 texts per month, and receive about the same amount. as for air time i average about 700 minutes per month. but then i get charged by the minute right now and like 90% of all my calls show 1:00, and about 5% are 2:00 and the rest make up for whatever is left over. which means most of my calls are ultra short. if that info helps at all.

yeah so what are your guys's suggestions? are there any deals that aren't shown on the rogers site?

700 minutes..
How much is incoming, outgoing, evenings/weekends?
I'd try to get a good voice plan first, and then add the $35 Data and Value Pack.
That gives you unlimited Texting, Caller ID, Voicemail, and 500 MB.
I suggest you call to make a deal, the dealers won't give you anything.
They will waive your activation fee, pay your first month, and can change rate plans by giving you monthly discounts. Good luck~

Most of them are incoming, or maybe like 60%? I usually use texting as i'm on the go, and almost all my calls are evenings/weekends.

so is there anyway i can get a cheap bold? lol.

^sign a new contract

The cheapest you'd find it for is $299.99 on a 3 year term.
I know FS had it for a short time for $199.99 through a friend..
But then you get the 3 years of expensive contract to go through.
I would say.. try to deal for a plan with 300~ minutes, free incoming, and evenings after 6.
If you sound nice enough.. they WILL offer you plans close to retentions.
At the end, with one month free, and the activation fee waived.. that's like buying it for $199.99 don't ya think? =P
If you're lucky, you'd get at least $20 credit on your bill. That's what I dealt for.. but they did say that a Bold would mean better discounts.. but I'm stuck with Telus for another 2 years for my own personal use. =_=~~
