I preordered the game months ago but midway through I cancelled my preorder and decided not to play. Just received a product code from EA today with a 30 day game time..

MAN WAIT TIME SUCKS. Last night it took oever an hour to login. I can't image how this is goign to go when offical launch happens.........

I think they're trying to spread the population over all of the servers rather than having everyone choosing a popular server, gradually opening up new ones once the wait times and populations get crazy. Should be around the same or better by launch.

Doubt it unless they restrict new character being made on already super popular servers.

Well, I mean spreading the load over new servers as the wait times increase, rather than having a bunch of servers available, but barely any one in them because they don't want to join an "empty" server.

This game is fun, I played for hours!

Bought the game today (retail disc version)...haven't got a chance to install yet gotta clean out my hard drives partitions...

Accordingly to FAQ you DO need origin....but it's not showing up in my game list even though I registered the cd-key on SWTOR.com...

How you guys liking it? I rolled a bounty hunter. Heard theres a lot of imbalance in PvP

imbalance? i dont really see it, hp and dmg wise its all equal no matter what level you are

only thing id see imbalance is a level 10 going in a bg vs a level 50 and the level 50 has advantage with all the skills whereas the level 10 is limited in the skills he can use

otherwise i think its decent, sure mercs do shitload of dps but i play both a sorc / jugg and i'm not having a really hard time killing anything (only level 25), really depends if you know your class well and your environment (ie. huttball and stunning them in fire/acid etc.)

it's really balanced PvP wise, maybe operatives/scoundrels are a bit OP. Level 50 brackets are coming next week

Bounty hunters are the best tanks atm imo, and good DPS and healers

I don't have any personal experience, I'm speaking just from what I've heard from a buddy.
He plays merc, and he says people are constantly complaining about noob, no skill, blah blah

But I agree that its all about knowing your class

Got a bounty hunter to lvl 24 then start playing a Jedi Shadow.

I understand why, its because mercs only need 1 button to do major dps thats why people are QQing about it
kinda like arcane mages back in wow, a 2 button class (for the most part)
