Acura NSX info

Hey guys, can someone point me in the right direction for some good reading on the Acura NSX?

I'm looking to know a little more, production numbers, resale value, common technical issues.

I used to own one and lets just say if your transmission and or clutch go its big $$$. Make sure the timing belt has been done and that its not in the Snap-Ring range. Also if you are worried about resale value, make sure it has NO accident history.

Definitely check out NSXprime.com If I remember correctly, there were around 18,000 NSX made from 1991 to 2005. Roughly half of that was sold in USA and Japan, the rest of the cars were sold in other markets. I think there were a bit over 700 cars sold in Canada over the 15 year production. Out of those 700 only 52 were NA2 (post 1997) and 14 out of that 52 were the facelifted (post 2002) models. If your looking at earlier models, be sure to check if your (1991-1992 NA1) NSX is in the snap ring range. This means your transmission will eventually fail and wont be cheap to replace. If your car is in the range, you can have it replaced before it fails. Obviously, it is a 19 year old car if you choose a 1991 NA1 so the basics such as replacing and checking for wear and tear items applies. NSX is a Honda after all so it should not be too expensive to maintain assuming you maintain it properly and regularly.
