| Is this cheap for a paint job??
Hi I drive a Honda s2000 and i know a buddy of buddy of mine who owns a shop and says he can do a good paint job inside and out for 1500$.
I dont know anything about paint jobs and price but he told me he can give me champion white almost like the same color that comes stock for a new
s2000. So yea is this a good deal? he says since im good friends with my buddy he will do it for that price. Also if any one can beat that price and do a good job msg me thank you

that is a good price if the quality is good. It could turn out to be a $500 maaco job. What is the shops name? usually GOOD shops charge around 4k.

ask what kind of paint they will be using , 1500 in and out seems Cheap. For that price Most shops will only do outside.

I know a few shops that will do special pricing for employees or even friends/family of said employees. They usually just do it during off-hours and charge straight cash, billing them purely for the materials used and pocketing the rest off the books. Not entirely legit, but it's how a lot of shops stay in business. However, because they're done for their own employees or their friends, the jobs tend to be fairly decent.

If it's for a friend, most likely they'll "only" charge for materials. I feel kinda bad but hey, you can offer them a nice dinner and stuff later as a thank you. |
