911Fanatic vs new Challenger

This client called because he said his Challenger (not Charger) just wasn't looking like it should for a new car. I had wanted to do an orange Challenger since they came out so I moved some stuff around and got him in the next day. It showed up all washed and ready to go. It got a quick clay with Automagic Blue and then we were straight into polishing.

In the first two pics you can see the light marring. It was worse than it looked as it had been washed at the dealership a few times. Aggghhhhhh!!

It was hard to get 50/50s because of the colour but you can see the lights on the right are clearer.

Taping this car off was a pain in the A$#!! All the striping etc was matte black so had to be masked off or it would have polished up all nice and shiny. Not the look the owner wanted. Taping took about 1.5 hours.

Product shot. After polishing with Power Finish on a Yellow GI pad, I followed up with my newly acquired Scholl S40 on Black CCS. The Scholl left the paint much wetter looking than 85RD. Very impressive. LSP was 2 coats Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger.

A few afters for you. Tires were dressed with Gloss-it Tire Gloss. Enjoy.
