HELP!!** werid clicking noise during acceleration.. =[
 

OK Straight forward.. i own a 2003 Sienna and during forward acceleration (about 20km) i noticed there are RAPID CLICKING noise coming from the front.. BUT.. during reverse acceleration there are NO** clicking sound.. SOO... can it be the tranny problem? and i floored the car a few times today... let me know!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!! =]

It might be knock sensor not working correctly, or insufficent EGR. It could also be caused by the engine running a little too hot, or even something like a spark plug not correctly torqued, or even cylinders that are getting carbon deposits. At the same time without me actually getting to hear the sound, that is only one possibility based on when you say you are getting the noise. That light throttle application at cruising speed, that creates a light acceleration is called "crowd". It's common for pinging to occur under those conditions.

highly unlikely more so it could be cv shafts. its not uncommon for the 2000-2004 models and all FWD models from toyota have weak cv shafts.

One more thingg... the vehicle has less then 70,000km on it

More then likely CV axles.

see a mechanic immediately lol
