who's to say the matrix didn't copy this movie, indian movies have all original ideas they do not copy ideas or full scenes from other movies...
...  kidding. indian movies are notorious for doing things like this. even copying whole movies.

It looks like they were trying to be 100% faithful to the Matrix (ie matching every explosion?). Nifty way of paying homage to one of THE coolest action sequences in Hollywood history. | |
