G-men ramen in Richmond Went to this place last night. The place was surprisingly small, you sign this sheet at the door to be on a waitlist and they call for your name while u're standing outside. This shop is part of the Gyoza King branch. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen while my friends got the Miso ramen. The soup was tasty and the noodles were good. The pork is sliced VERY thinly (like less than half a cm) and they give u 2 slices of that. The gyozas were not anything amazing, the skin wasn't cooked long enough, so it was kinda blanchy and soft. I still felt kinda hungry after I ate, and of course, very thirsty. I rate this place a 7/10. |
went there a month or so ago. i didn't like it at all. soup was way too salty. the frozen ramen (which comes with soup base) i buy at t&t tastes better . . . |

And the line up was ridiculous.....all these god damn kids who look like they've never seen ramen before. I rather go downtown. |
hm i actually found the broth to be not that salty, i thought that it was a lot less salty compared to the other ramen places. |
i went today, 7/10. yeah not enough meat man. |
cant believe theres a waitlist for this place then heh i guess its for the skinny koreans and japs who dont eat much |
i think its good but doesn't match the likes of kintaro or motomachi shokudo. i don't know if its still the same now but when i went a month or 2 ago, there were some pretty hot japanese jb's working there. |
i tried Menyu on broadway and cambie.. it was near work and there's no wait. good enough for me. |
