click "Start" --> Run --> type regedit find the microsoft folder and delete the office folder Make sure you backup your register first just in case something goes wrong. |

i vouch for both their suggestions. ran into this before. i did a regedit find for office13 or office14 (cant remember which version number) and deleted all traces of office entries. then it works. |
