UBC OK - Kelowna
 

I'm thinking of transferring my studies to the Kelowna campus of UBC when I move up North, but I've never dealt personally with UBC, muchless the campus in Kelowna. Just curious how people find it up there. I'll be in the Science department, if it matters, and likely renting an apartment somewhere around the city. Driving from my girlfriend's new house just outside of Salmon Arm to Kelowna (and back) every day for school just doesn't sit right with me.

Any opinions on this campus?

I'm from there...4th year there..almost graduating from Science in Microbiology?

Started as Forensic Archaeology, but I'm broadening it to Biochemistry for now, with the possibility of specializing in Forensics or Preservation. Mind you, Microbiology is starting to catch my eye now, as well.

Nah, no UBC Vancouver. I'm moving up into the Interior, so staying with a school in the Lower Mainland would sort of be detrimental...
