Chevy still needa put more money into these cars in order to win races. The report I read last month saying that they need more race and research time. But wonder how they are gonna fund these cars now with the bankruptcy case.

Hmm.. doesn't look like a typical Chevy hunk of junk. Wonder what the production model will actually end up looking like?

Or Turbo 1.4L making 140hp:

What's funny is that none of the design work on the car was done by americans.

Philly74 06-19-2009 09:11 PM

for turbo it only makes 140 hp and N/A 140 hp. HUH... why the same numbers? cant they bump the numbers higher for the turbo..

C'mon.. it's no longer about power.. it's about fuel economy. This is the new, boring, 'just like everyone else' GM.. domestics will no longer have torque to pass imports up the Coquihalla hills.

Quote:

There is talk that the 1.4-liter turbo's fuel economy could be as high as 45 mpg, presumably on the highway. By contrast, the 2009 Cobalt's base 2.2-liter non-turbo four produces 155 horses and is EPA-rated at 25/37 mpg city/highway in new gas-miser XFE trim.

Successor to the Chevy Lacetti in the WTCC I presume? Nonetheless, I lol'ed at the fact that the car was designed by Daewoo (thanks MadTV), but those cars can hold their own really well from the clips I've seen on YouTube.

WTCC is still going strong? Damn, that was a fun series to watch back in the day. Is Real Time still around?
