Audio too low/quiet I have an Asus P5QL Pro motherboard connected to a Logitech Z-4 2.1 system and it doesnt go very loud at all. I've checked every setting in the windows volume manager and the Realtek HD Audio manager and everything is set to max. Is this normal, or do I have to buy something to make it louder? Thanks |
Well, the first things I would check would be: 1) The volume is up on the physical dial for the speakers. 2) If you're using XP, make sure the .wav volume is at full. 3) Make sure the speakers are configured as a 2.1 sound system; setting it as a surround sound system may cause problems. 4) If you're using Vista, set the speakers as Full-Range Speakers (Right-click sound icon > Playback devices > Realtek High Definition Audio > Configure > Stereo > Check the box next to Front Left and Right > OK) |
