Creating A File with Multiple jpg's Within - Help

i need to create either a TIF or PDF file with multiple scanned images inside.

I can choose to save my scanned images as .TIF file, and create one like that, but the file size gets big really fast, even after i shrink the pictures, and makes it hard to email to people who only allows file sizes of 2mb or less. I have to send maybe 4 separate .tif files instead ( i only want 1 .tif file ideally)

Is there a way to further compress my images within the .tif file? Also i have the latest version of adobe reader, is it possible to make a pdf file with multple images without the file size being too large?

Try saving as Jpeg Also Photoshop has a bunch of options to reduce file size.

If you have Adobe InDesign, place your pictures on multiple pages (1 image per page) and export the file as a PDF (File -> Adobe PDF Presets -> Smallest File Size).

tif files are generally uncompressed, lossless pictures. you can optionally compress it with lzw algorithms but that is not really what you should do. the above suggestions are great: you can either convert tif to jpg, or you can open ms word and slap a bunch of pictures in a word document, and then use cutepdf printer (freeware) to print the document to a pdf file.

i recommend converting to jpeg.
