Anyone know how to make pictures like this? So this guy converted a picture of his car and made a picture like this for his avatar. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to do the same and would like to give me some directions? Thanks! http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/image...ine=1234696224 |

Just like making custom .gifs back in the days. Awww yeahh |
he just pasted it in on one layer and outlined it in black with another layer manually |
Thats a really low-res pic so its hard to tell but he coulda hand-traced it with a tablet, traced it using the Pen tool in Photoshop, or upped contrast and used "Find Edges" then erased all the ugly bits. |
no it looks like vector art no matter how you look at it. If you know the way it only takes like an hour tops. |
Well if its something like my car with all these jagged edges, I could probably do it on paint, your TL isn't particularly curvy either :) |
why don't u just ask him? |
|
u should replace 'stance' with 'go wide or go home' |
does your car really look like that from behind tho? |
if u look at his galleries, his is lowered... but the ass is still much higher than the .gif I made. |
ask adon |
wow Rich that was fast, and pretty nice too, what'd u use? blueprints? |
google'd "2007 acura tl rear" and then I used the "line draw" to outline the important lines in neon green. Then I selected the entire picture, with neon green as the background transparent colour. Paste in as a new image, and you get the picture with the neon green lines transparent. "invert selection" and then all you have are the neon green lines. Replace the green colour with black. Resize, add wheels, etc. Done. |
