I was looking to get the carbs done on my 93 gsxr. Called around small shops and dealers. Was quoted anywhere from $260 to $400. I think Imperial Motorcycles in Burnaby was the cheapest.
Ended up doing it myself. Took a few hours but was worth it. Actually quite simple. Has no emission control stuff to deal with. A walk in the park compared to prelude carbs

Conventional oil. Not semi or full synthetic (although you prob could for extra $$). They use Maxim oil and usually recommend that brand.

5th gear is a great shop.

racerman88 07-24-2009 02:50 PM

cost you more if you want full synthetic oil
