Firefox 3.5

Since it just came out....what do you think of it? Like it? Dislike it?

Im a google chrome fan, but thinking of trying it out.

I had to stop using Chrome, because later builds were very unstable. I tried Safari for a while, but eventually went back to FireFox 3.5. It seems pretty good now.. 3.0 was a pig.

been using chrome for a super long time ever since firefox started to suck
hopefully the new version doesn't suck as much

way2quik 07-01-2009 09:34 AM

using 3.5 but may end up going back to ie8.
i just don't see much difference aside from the reported 'faster and less sluggish' browser plus Private Browsing.

yea 3.0 for me was pretty crashy, the older 2 version of firefox crashed one me maybe 2 times in a whole year.... 3.0 used to crash a few times a day, on and off like that for months...it still crashes a few times a week right now, it pisses me off..... I'm downloading 3.5 right now hopefully it will fix the crashing.

Using it right now. The new way they do restore session is nice and it's the first browser to support HTML 5.0.

it actually does feel a bit faster to me unless it's a placebo effect lol

slammer111 07-02-2009 02:12 AM

Seems to be no difference, except for the "clear private data" menu. But if they fixed a bunch of bugs and made improvements, why not right? :)

At least they finally got things right with FF3. FF1 sucked big time and FF2 was average at best.

i'm a safari fan boi...safari 4 is faster than all the other...i use chrome at work but the older version as the new version does not work with my online diagnostic tool

6insomnia9 07-04-2009 02:15 PM

Chrome is still better..

DanHibiki 07-04-2009 04:34 PM

Firefox has All-in-one Gesture add-on >> all other browsers
