Any ideas on where to sell a expensive mont blanc ballpoint pen?
 

I just acquired a limited edition mont blanc marcel proust ballpoint pen.
Retail on this in 1999 was $500.

I've did lot of searching online, and price has doubled.

I was wondering does anyone here collect these pens? Anyone know where to sell it locally?

I tried vancouver pen shop, and they dont do buy/sell there.

You might have to just put it on craigslist or ebay would be better b/c you hit a bigger segment. I lean towards ebay b/c you may find that pen collector who knows and appreciates the product.

ballpoints aren't as collectible as fountains but hit up some pen forums (there's quite a lot of them) and scan any documentation you might have and hi-quality pictures of it

I just saw a seller on eBay the other day who was selling nothing but vintage Mont Blanc pens for $3500+ a piece... probably the best place for it I think
