Actually, I just stayed here during my vacation to Costa Rica this year, and it is a niiiiiiiiiiice place. Go sit through the tour/sales pitch, kindly decline and enjoy your stay there!

Can you give somemore info on your stay? I've heard some terrible experiences with these 'timeshare' offered vacation, including aggressive/pushy sales reps and not letting people leave seminars which there are more than just one.

I should get my mom to do this. She's like a fucking rock, nothing will change her decisions including annoying sales reps.

Well, we redeemed our stay this year through our existing time share points.

While there, they offered my sister the same deal (5day/4 night) if she and her husband would go through a tour/sales pitch. We were already impressed with the place and so she figured why not, we can come back another year without using up our own points once again.

So the guy takes them around, shows them places, gives them a walking tour. Some of these villas that they have there, you can actually purchase and own. The view and lot of some of them is amazing, when I get through editing my pictures I'll update or post some in here. It's on a mountain side, and overlooks the beach.

The guy who was trying to push it to her was nice at first, but towards the end when he got pushy he got really rude with her. My sis did go complain to the manager, the person who runs the timeshare stuff at the actual resort, and etc.. it's also the first time I actually saw her bitch someone out :P.

Anyways, after cooling down, we went to their little office and got the paperwork done, and got the cert's for the stay, valid for half a year or a year I think, from that day.

No, I haven't gotten there yet in my pics yet.

As for timeshare tickets being transferrable.....I'm not sure.

damn u gotta be 23

my parents went to vegas on a timeshare once and the hotel was downtown ghetto and shitty. But this sounds better? You'll still end up paying a lot though i bet, one way or another. Nothing's free!

SkinnyPupp 07-05-2009 10:06 AM

You won't have to pay for anything at the hotel.

I've worked for a telemarketing company promoting Timeshare for Point-to-Point Destinations (west coast timeshare) and I can tell you, the sales presentation is VERY pushy! You`ll definitely get the free round trip if you qualify, so it`s not a fraud like most people thought would be.

read the terms&conditions

$200 deposit that might not be refunded

and you have to meet the financial requirements of the company to stay there or else you'll be housed at some shack etc

stopped reading the terms from there
