WTF is wrong with RS Search?
 

You know how everyone says "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON"

well everytime I try to use the search function, and yes I know how to use it properly with "search in titles only" or by username.. or in certain subforums etc..

but nothing relevant comes up.

I see dozens of Items im looking for being sold RECENT like hours or days ago in the forums but when i search it, i get one or two RECENT and a shit load of posts months/years/DECADES ago.


Why cant the search find more recent posts, with the exact keyword/(s) I ask?

Yeah like when i tried to search for Recaro seats I got a bunch of old ass posts but when I went to the Body Cosmetics For sale forum myself there were some on the first page that never came up on the search.

same frustration here..and it seems like it's not just RS
and when what you want doesnt show up properly..you have to idle for 30 second for the next search result

Happens to me too. I'll type in a key word from a few weeks ago, and it shows shit dating back to 06

I asked about this several months ago, but nothing was resolved.

RS has search?

my understanding of the search, if u use the quick search, it will post the most relavent. and the most relavent isnt exactly the most recent.

use the "advance search" and you will yield a much better result. you dont have to fill in all the blanks in advance search, BUT if you put in the same simple search criteria as the simple search, you will yield a much better result.
