how to clean stainless steel exhaust tips i'm not running stock cats on my car anymore. as a result my exhaust tips are stained and well charred to boot. simple clean works only marginally, and never dull has no effect. it's slash-cut tips so it has squared off ends as well making things worse... can someone recommend a product that can help clean things up? i'm trying to find a good camera to take pics... camera phone crap i took is worthless  |
Metal polishes like Mothers, Eagle One, Wenol, P21S, will all do the job. Use a soft cloth or try some #0000 super fine steel wool. |
if it is really bad, at the end of your car wash, soap up the tips and use the really fine steel wool |
