So you want someone to work on your photos, and then you'll claim it as your own professional portfolio?

I got the same question.

Who took the photo's, who owns photos that are you getting touched up, and what is the END purpose for the photos?

If that's the case, how will the OP deal with his/her future clients?
Assuming he/she gets any

Professional Photoshop post processing costs about $100-$150/hour. There's nothing wrong with getting someone else to do post processing on photos that you took. Almost every commercial photographer farms out their post work, and many wedding photographers do also, especially the high-end wedding photogs.

One thing though. If you do hire someone to do your post work for your website, remember that potential clients will be looking at you as a whole package. They will hire you for your 'look'. If you can't deliver that on a consistent basis, you won't be working very long. So, either learn how to post process your images yourself, or farm out your images, but keep it consistent. Learning Photoshop on your own will require a massive initial investment of time and money, but should be more economical in the long run.
