Cats eye becoming cloudy

So here's the thing, my cats right eye has recently started becoming cloudy.
Like how some people's eyes get cloudy and lose vision due to old age.
I'm going to take him to the vet this weekend, but I was just wondering if there is anyone out there with a clue about whats going on.
Parasites? Old age?

t.i.a :)

Like milky cloudy?
High chance that it's cataracts.. a build up in the eyes blocking the pupil.
Is your cat old?
My dog has cataracts as well.. but it's from high ocular pressure and diabetes.

You mean glaucoma. Cataracts affects the lens inside the eyes, and there is no way you can see it from the outside. If you had it, then yes your vision would be cloudy.

He's at least 8 years old, from what I remember.
