just be polite, and ask her some questions like what got you into haircutting and tell her some bad hair day stories about yourself that she can laugh at it works everytime! (dont overly make fun of yourself but show her that you are confident enough)

come back for what? i cut my hair once a month, there's really nothing to follow up on is there?

anyways, thanks for all the generous advice. my plan is to make a good impression with her mom first then go for a direct win or lose.
