I'm 100% sure 75$ was not for 265/35/18 however I did not get these from Tirerack. Like you said, they HAD a sale. Not everyone knew about the sale or purchase it from Tirerack.

I got these locally and I'm selling because I want to upgrade to A048.

Maybe you should, either or these are discontinued. GL with the sale

spigot52 07-14-2009 07:11 AM

Good luck....you can get the new and better RE-11's for only a few bucks more.

Beilei 07-14-2009 09:12 AM

^^ Few bucks? Stop comparing these to 195
1010tires.com (Bridgeport) selling it for 339.99 ea, total $1523 with tax.

Maybe you should stop throwing out random numbers and ruining people's sale threads

I bought 235/40-17 RE-11's at a Mazda Dealership for $1100.00 plus I got a $100.00 Visa card from Bridgestone and a $50.00 rebate from Mazda....you do the math.

Do you even know the price increase just to go 1" up in tire size? and the ones the op is selling are wider as well. how about you price out a 265/35/18 RE-11 at the dealer and then come back and tell us how good of a deal you got. better yet, let's see you put that 17" tire on a 18" wheel

spigot52 07-17-2009 07:20 AM

I guess it must be a "cheap" price because it wont fit a 17" wheel....and the ones I bought wont fit an 18" wheel .....how did I miss that logic? Thanks for pointing that out.

They were selling for $75 each for re01r at tirerack. A few of my friends bought them because they were discontinued.

My mistake, They weren't 75.00 dollars a tire
They were 99.00 dollars from tirerack

A friend of mine, referred me to the link. But Good Luck with the sale

so even with the exchange rate + shipping I don't think it'll come up to 1100.00 CDN.
So I guess I did do my research, But Im not planning to "piss" or "ruin" this thread. I'll let the OP do it all on his own

The point is Tirerack sale is OVER. RE01R is discontinued, noone has these in stock. It would be a different scenerio if Tirerack is STILL having this sale than all you guys would buy it from Tirerack and this puts downward pressure on my price. Now you can say my $1100 is EXPENSIVE but what is there to compare it to right now? What is the market price for these?

Maybe you can answer me this

Why does a sold out concert ticket has a resale value double of it's original??? or even triple? People still buy these off CL very willingly even knowing the original price was 3 times less that amount.

Beilei 07-17-2009 01:22 PM

Just to clarify again, these are NOT from Tirerack

You have a point but so does everyone else.
A sold out concert means demand is greater than the supply of seats/tickets available.
For tires, there are substitutes though. But enough of that.

If you can get $1100 for your tires, then good for you. If after a month and no one bites, then maybe your price is too high.

spigot52 07-17-2009 02:10 PM

My point is that $1100.00 is not what I what I would call a 'cheap' price for those.
