TEN KILOMETERS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION

And she caused TWO separate accidents. I heard on the news that she was driving 100km/h in the wrong direction! Wouldn't common sense tell you to get the fuck off the road?!

Common Sense. Old people don't have it.

We need a motivational poster for this one;)

BTW, I saw the pile-up when heading back from Seattle yesternight at 12am. It was still nasty. Trucks and police everywhere on the southbound lane. Cars were strewn all over the side of the highway.

hello everyone,

i just wanted to apologize for causing this highway accident. my driving visor (pls dont make fun) strap came off on the back, which momentarily blocked my vision, causing me to accelerate to 320km/h+++, hit a barrier, roll mid-air and land on top of a mini-cooper. i understand that it was a serious accident, but everyone should be OK with it because i waved "sorry" after it happened.

pics of my defective driving visor. i recommend that you folks dont get this, as it is poor in quality

Old people need to stop driving if they can't handle it.
Freaking hell.

I've seen this before on Hwy 91. It was an elderly woman, as was the case here. She didn't seem to know she was going the wrong way at all. Just drove normally and was actually staring as other drivers as she approached...like everyone else was wrong.

Some old dood just "pulled a Hwy99" this morning near where I live (King Ed and McDonald) right when I was explaining this incident to my friend!, going "up" the hill when everyone else was going down. Good thing he came to his senses after the car in front of me and I both honked him.

Easiest way to catch everyone? Force everyone to redo a test each time your license gets renewed. Since you gotta come in anyways, why not spend 1h doing a test?

it's been said so many times on these forums

ICBC should have mandatory driving exams for seniors every 3 years

with emphasis on vision, traffic signs, and reflex testing??

3 years?

More like a yearly exam.

When you get old your senses can deteriorate real quickly.
