Just get it replaced. No LV bag is the same when a kimchi noodle touches it...

BlackV62K2 07-17-2009 02:41 PM

If they are offering to replace it, why not just do that?

If she went in and offered a replacement...why didn't she do that already? instead we have this topic on RS hehehe

miss_crayon 07-18-2009 03:20 PM

leather cleaner or just pay the replacment fee to replace the piece itself.

also, she should have put some sort of protective barrier (napkin) over the $1000 bag on her lap before she started eating

mr clean magic eraser

Mr.HappySilp 07-19-2009 04:37 PM

buy her a brand new LV bag at the richmond night market. She won't notice the difference.

I say the leather cleaner should do the trick.

i wonder if that will work tho

as someone stated

wouldnt leather conditioner/cleaner work?

crzymofo 07-20-2009 01:33 PM

leather cleaner will work if it hasnt gone into the leather. if not your lv bag will never be the same again.

ab-norma-l 07-20-2009 06:11 PM

So sorry to hear about your girlfriend's bag. I'd be devastated  then again I would NEVER have my bag anywhere near where food can fall on it. Lesson learned.

LV vachetta leather is NOT the same as car leather. The leather is naked and untreated so it can get easily stained, even with water. Vachetta leather absorbs like crazy. I don't think it will ever be the same if she tries to clean it

She should get it replaced and then make sure she treats it with leather water and stain repellant afterwards. Appleguard makes leather protectant safe for naked LV leather.

TRDood 07-20-2009 08:55 PM
