Vista Folder Options Question...

OK, i'm not a super computer guy but this bugs me.

How can I get folder options to be permanent?? By this i mean, say I want to arrange files in a folder by "type"

Usually when i do this i get the options:
-name
-size
etc...

I go into "more options" and select "type"

YAY.

Then, the next time open the folder that option of "type" is gone, i have to redo the whole goddam process. Is ther anyway to make it permanent?

The same thing works for folders with only music, I have to go into properties and click folder type as "music" otherwise vista leaves it on "document".

Thanks guys

haha fucking pisses me off too. I prefer my option view to be "list" and everytime I go back it's in fucking thumbnails again

yes. this is annoying.

i always have to re-add "sort by date modified"

or sometimes the folders go into icon mode instead of list mode.

im using vista btw.
