"Friend of a Friend" is a d*ckhead!!
 

The back story is basically one of my good friends has this friend who I'll label as a mutual acquaintance (minus the mutual)
Every time we go clubbin he always starts shit which subsequently causes things to pop off whereby my friends and I have to intervene and thus become peacemakers.
Lets just say for the sake of comparison that babies make this guy seem like angels.
Not to mention his behavior is detrimental to the whole picking up chicks process

My boiling point has most definitely exceeded 100°C .
I'll be going to the fireworks on the 22nd with the crew and also this girl I've been seeing. If my friend has his way then mr.goober is probably gonna tag along and be his annoying self. The biggest worry I have is him being a total jackass in the presence of the girl. I have more than my hands full when its just us 'guys' but I don't want him doing anything that may jeopardize my chances with said girl.

All my friends are cool with this guy but even they realize his antics are over the top. They grin and bear it though..
It can be fun once in awhile but he goes over the top somewhat akin to Brüno (if anyone's seen that movie)

just straight up tell your friend. you don't want the guy coming if hes going to be a complete ass. tell him you don't want this friend of a friend to ruin his chances with this girl because hes imature.

Theres a point in life where people have to grow up. my friends brother is the exact same way. his problem is he hates being embarrased. he has a hard time controlling his emotions and tries to act tough.

i made fun of him cause he hooked an ecu wire into a stereo and it fucked up numerous things in the car for a while. he said it went all fucked up and crazy and i made a smart ass comment. the guy totally flips out and says omg i could kick your ass, beat ur face in, your fucking retarded... i worked on a car for 4 hrs w/ this fucker and finally i had enough of his shit. keep in mind im 5,6 140lb and hes about 5,9 240lb. i just told him to knock it off, told him hes taking it too far and stop whining like a little bitch. took him another hr 2 calm down.

a word of advice, don't hang out w/ ppl who are imature, or straight up tell them they are acting imature. don't say it like you want to start another argument. just tell him to knock it off...

I've been in similar situations where the dude's a COMPLETELY jackass in a public place, espcially at the place I visit the most.

I started off telling my friend to settle him down. That he needs to stop being a jerk when he's drunk. I made it VERY clear that it was a warning. And if he didn't listen,
I'd tell it to the dude for my friend. In my own way.

Stopped right away.

Don't beat around the bush, just tell confront him about it. You're not going to hurt his feelings.

Easier said than done my friend. If it were that easy I'd have already have gave him my 2 cents. The prime concern I have is alienating myself from my friends in lieu of telling this guy to F off already. Its a touchy situation and I don't want to lose my bro's cause they've been there for me when it counts the most.

I have no qualms manning up and telling this guy off. Don't get it twisted but the issue is trying to keep everything on a civil basis. I don't want be a complete tool about it.

Heeeeeyyy long time!! Yeah, not with that girl anymore. Been playing my options a bit. Found out relationships aren't as cookie cutter picturesque as I had hoped. The girl I'm seeing is like my soul mate as cliche as that may sound.

The first thing that comes in mind is:
Tell your friend that you don't appreciate him hanging around with you guys. If he's really the character you say he is, then you'd have no trouble finding other friends to justify your reasoning.

You'd think thats the most sensible route to go have a talk but I value my friends more than anything so I have to be careful here. The thing is I don't have like a whole butt load of friends. My social circle consists of my crew so if I lose my bff's I'm lucked out like a fish out of water. Most of the people I know are just acquientences also (not friends). So yeah, don't wanna go all kamakazee on my friends like giving them an ultimatum. Just wanna find a delicate way to deal with this prick cause he's unbearable.
